Zip Dagger is an award-winning Psychedelic Electro-Pop multi-instrumentalist, filmmaker, and DJ. Zip creates boundary-stretching sounds on synthesizers, bass, guitar, and turntables, performing solo shows as well as with his band of world-class musicians, vocalists, and dancers.
Zip Dagger is a multi-year award winner in the Houston Texas Art Car Parade (the world’s largest Art Car event), winning “Best Performance” in 2013, “Best Music” in 2014, and “Best Performance” again in 2015 for their shows in front of record-setting parade audiences of over 300,000 attendees.
Zip Dagger is the creator of experimental art short films called The Zip Dagger Show, which were audience favorites in the “Experimental Film” category at Hollywood’s WMM International Film Festival in 2022 and 2019.
