Artist’s Statement: “Imagination, creativity, insight, and discovery are facilitated through visual stimuli in a place where connectiveness, shared consciousness, and realization of the will of the mind’s eye coexist. Inspired by all-knowing and all-seeing inner realms, one can experience thoughts as colors, sounds as shapes, and nothingness as infinity.”

Back in the primitive world of early computers and the first-ever color monitors, Mark Towns began experimenting with a crude Windows art program called Paintbrush to manipulate scanned photos and combine them with original detailed computer-assisted designs to create, in 1992, some of the world’s first-ever digital art. Collections of these early digital works were subsequently displayed to rave reviews at various galleries and art spaces. After several years of being off of the market, these digital works are now being made available again as signed limited edition prints on canvas.
