Mark Towns is a staff writer and columnist for L.A. Jazz Scene (“L.A.’s Only Jazz Paper,” now in their 30th year of publication). His column, “Ritmo Caliente” spotlights Latin Jazz, World Music, Fusion, and Psychedelic music in the Los Angeles area and beyond. Mark has also written for Music Connection Magazine (2008), Houston Press (1997 – 2008), All About Jazz L.A.
